What is Morpheus Network? With the current issues with the supply chain and commerce industry largely driven by the heavy rise in demand for online shopping and general e-commerce thats been caused due to the pandemic. From a shortage of supplies to the total disorganization caused by the rise in volume, to now the added pressure due to sanctions as a response for Russia’s actions. Their needs to be improvements all around in the industry, specifically within logistics and authentication. In fact the World Economic Forum has stated that by reducing supply chain inefficiencies we could potentially see a rise in global GPD of about 5%.
Morpheus Network is here to be that change through automating and simplifying our current procedure through changing our operations within logistics, authenticity along with transparency of information, and automation of these small micro processes all throughout its production cycle up until it arrives in the customers hands. As a blockchain designed with the niche to focus on one specific industry, Morpheus Network has been built by previous experts in the industry that understand the issues such as a lack of verification and authenticity of records that could easily be solved by an immutable ledger, or the abundance of unnessacary paper documents or contracts that can all be instantly verified and signed digitally through the deployment of smart contracts.

With a plethora of first hand experience paired with a knowledgeable team, Morpheus Network is a blockchain built to be optimized to disrupt the supply chain industry as a middleware technology thats seen utilization and integrations of their solutions from some of the largest and most renounced corporations within supply chain management, payment infrastructures and other general technology software based companies.
Problems in Supply Chain The supply chain is one of the core essential pieces for our global economy to properly function. From the small microeconomic activities that often get overlooked such as the process shipments of basic items towards everyday consumers, or for businesses to continue operating by restocking inventory, to the larger scale macroeconomic factors like allowing global trade of imports and exports around the world. Its essential that we continue to look for solutions to improve the industry as demand for global trade and e-commerce continues to skyrocket.
The inefficiencies is a problem thats largely caused by the lack of speed and automation this industry still operates in caused by the amounts of different siloed IT systems. Such as the dependance on paper documents and other manual events that require physical labour to verify its legitimacy.
For example, a simple bulk shipment of bananas could generate dozens of physical procedures and hundreds of physical documents each susceptible to human errors such as misplacement, misfiling or incorrect payment information.
With the aggregate labor force around the world still continuing to recover after the pandemic, the massive increase seen for the demand of shipments and global trade has caused the supply chain industry to feel beyond overwhelmed as demand for production continues to rise, yet the labour force in the respective sector has essentially been just gradually recovering the massive losses it took from the start of the pandemic.
Some issues within supply chain While many of the other existing issues are revolved heavily revolved around rises in price and the scarcity of materials which has been largely caused as a consequence of the amount of money printing and thus inflation thats been happening around the world over the past two years. Which blockchain technology unfortunately can’t solve, there are multiple issues addressed within supply chain that blockchains and distributed ledgers can be the key solution for to create a more efficient and cost effective global economy for consumers and corporations alike.
Supply Chains meet Blockchains The integration of blockchain technology into supply chains seem to be like a match made in heaven for the Fourth Industrial Revolution . From the trillions of transfers in aggregate, to the customs documentation and various payment railways. The integration of a blockchain to create digital immutable logs for every single procedure an item or company has gone through and easily able to reconcile the entire history will open up new doors while heavily boosting their efficiency in multiple areas of the sector.
Utility of Morpheus Much like a majority of other projects building their solutions through blockchain technology, Morpheus Network is built over top of Ethereum and a member of the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance. A consortium thats working to build blockchain standards on the industrial level and bring the adoption of enterprise grade Ethereum to light.
Morpheus Network aims to solve the issues within supply chain by bringing a platform that brings all the siloed separate systems data into one place to simplify the exchange of information from end to end. While also allowing the integration of other systems and technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, IoT sensors, machine learning, etc into their existing infrastructure to optimally fit the needs of the various industries and corporations around the world.
As supply chains range so vastly across sectors within the economy, some of the more sensitive industries such as food trusts and other natural resources can result in an error being the difference between life or death, or the difference between happy customers and hundreds of lawsuits waiting at their door.
Middleware Solution Morpheus Network acts as a middleware solution in which their platform can easily be integrated between other pre existing systems. Creating a digital twin of supply chain processes in an automated and streamlined process to verify manual data inputs. Allowing all the siloed systems in each supply chain to be easily interoperable and integrated into a single middleware system, saving invaluable hours and capital that would otherwise require execution through physical human labour to manually input and update data with other siloed systems together.
From limiting the costs and time of fees and payments to the connectivity of multiple systems into one middleware solution, Morpheus offers a wide range of preset modules predominately utilized in the world of global trading today to allow the merge and integration a simple and easy to learn process for firms, while also giving clients the option to start out from scratch and build their own modules with the support of Morpheus Networks development team.

From supply chains and trades to finance and international payments, the easy to integrate solution built by Morpheus believes that their middleware solution could be the missing ingredient to having an extremely efficient supply chain thats on autopilot. Where the chain is completely automated.
When one process gets verified as completed, the next step automatically triggers, whether it be a proof of payment, a simple handover of items, or additional documentations. These process can now be instantly verified through smart contracts and a digital twin of the entire procedure to give everyone in the industry a faster and fully transparent view at how things are progressing.

Morpheus $MWN Token Morpheus Network Morpheus Utility The $MNW token is essentially the fuel that allows their middleware solution Morpheus Network to run, allowing smart contracts to be executed in addition to automated for things such as shipments, customs, payments and other documents and contracts.
As the network breaks down every little step into its own procedure down the chain for their automated workflow, and with each procedure being verified before the next step can begin. For these automated services to properly function it requires fees and payments towards the system for the actions of notarization of data and documents as well as micropayments towards the automated workflow procedures.
With the two main uses of the $MNW on their platform to be for either payments to automate procedures, or for the microservices of notarizing data and documents. From when the product is being manufactured, to when a customer places an order, all the way to when its delivered in their hands Morpheus Network’s $MNW token is the fuel for every step of the way.
Tokenomics The $MNW token has some very unique characteristics to its tokenomics that makes it for not only a great utility token for platform users, but also potentially as an investment.
There is a total supply of 47.9 million $MNW with a current circulating supply of 47.9 million, meaning there is no expected inflation and can never have any form of token inflation as unlike the overwhelming majority of digital assets every token on the Morpheus Network is either in a wallet or already out on the markets.
This makes it for a eye catching potential for investors as theres no need of worrying whether their underlying asset can outperform its inflation rate, or the worry of earlier vested investors unlocking their tokens and causing substantial amounts of sell pressure onto the open markets.
Morpheus Masternodes Similar to many blockchain applications out there, Morpheus Network wants to help decentralize their network through allowing members of their community to run nodes to further decentralize the validation, governance and security of their middleware.
This further boosts the incentives for users to hold $MNW tokens to utilize further into their ecosystem by supporting and boosting their security and decentralization through providing their computing power and resources while being rewarded in their platforms native token doing so.
With the entry for a node only requiring users to stake 1,800 $MNW it is one of the most affordable node options out there at the moment, while actually providing a real world use case unlike many node projects currently out in the markets. The Morpheus Network team has dedicated 1.2 million $MNW tokens to be distributed to these node validators with a fixed yield of 18% APR.
Final Thoughts While the supply chain world has seen issues around the world, distributed ledgers and blockchain technologies surely can provide some of those solutions within logistics, procurements, track and trace, verification, along with the general digitization of trading instruments and many more. Several companies and blockchain projects have already noticed this and begun building aside from Morpheus such as VeChain, OriginTrail and Xin Fin Network.
While all providing somewhat similar solutions to the same industry, what separates Morpheus is their unique approach through the integration of a middleware solution thats easily interoperable with legacy IT infrastructures that allows firms to automate and break every step of the way down to the science, providing firms with a much more simple system to migrate over to where they now easily manage and monitor all the previously siloed supply chains in real time.
The team they’ve built together is very fitting for what the vision is, as they’ve not only gathered up experience within this respective industry but have a long list of other members within their team dedicated to every little process much like their middleware system.
With some of the recognition, connections and collaborations they’ve built up in their respective industry, it shouldn’t be too farfetched to think Morpheus Networks middleware could be a key integral part across supply chains in our world as the development and adoption continues to pick up and we begin seeing the adoption of standards for electronic trading through digitized documents and automated procedures along the chain.
